HVAC Sales

  • The primary objective of this position is to sell residential HVAC products and services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to educate customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. This is a commission-based position with a high earning potential
  • Essential Functions
  • Use company provided and scheduled leads to develop relationships with customers in an effort to identify the most appropriate HVAC products for their home
  • Help our customers make purchasing decisions for heating, cooling, indoor air quality and/or hot water systems for their home.
  • Educate the customer to the different systems that are available to them and what the benefits of each system are and present all relevant options that will work for their home.
  • Review any possible rebates and financing options that may be available • Effectively move customers to take action on making HVAC improvements to their homes
  • Complete administrative tasks in a time manner including executing contracts, creating detailed work scopes, taking and editing photos, updating internal databases, assisting customers with rebate applications, etc.

  • Participate in development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.
  • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.

  • Physical Demands This position requires walking through customers homes to evaluate heating, cooling and other needs they may have. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
  • Education and Experience
  • Working knowledge of products for residential heating, cooling and plumbing equipment.
  • Prior experience selling heating, cooling and plumbing products for residential use is preferred
